Dr Sandy Murphy

Dr. Murphy is a triumphant survivor of incest, rape, and dating/family violence. At age 18 her husband shot her in the face at close range with a twelve gauge shotgun. Miraculously she survived! She is the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit Fair Care Center Inc., Building Better Families Counseling & Training Services; along with a violence prevention education team who assist the "Cooling Room Project" to provide school-based, workplace, and church-based Anger Management, Violence Intervention/Prevention, and Mental Health Educational Series. Dr. Murphy is also the Chancellor/Founder of Elect Lady Sons of Thunder School of Ministry & Mentoring Academy, Producer & Host of Dr. Keepin` It REAL Radio Show. Dr. Murphy is the publisher of 22 Leadership and Self-help Books. Sandy has been speaking professionally for over 40 years. Through the professional gifts of Teaching and Administration, Sandy is a Consultant, Educator, Mentor, Ministry Midwife, and Trainer to develop Leadership with Schools, Colleges, Police Academy, Churches, Businesses, Prisons, and others in Professional Development for Leadership, Family-bonding, Violence Prevention/Intervention for individual/family, workplace public and community safety for family and community wellness. Sandy is the mother of two adult children: a son and a daughter, and the grandmother of 5 beautiful granddaughters. She has over 40 years of community education, training, and outreach services.
